Consultant only if applicable:
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once CESR is awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term (6 months), full time (40 hours per week) post based in Edinburgh Dental Institute and Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.
This 10 PA 6-month locum Consultant post offers an opportunity for the appointee to join the established team of Consultants and Specialists leading the comprehensive Paediatric Dental Service within NHS Lothian. This integrated service comprised of the Public Dental Service and Hospital Dental Service provides an exciting, and unique opportunity for the provision of a child-centred approach to the delivery of care across the primary, secondary and tertiary dental services in line with NHS Scotland’s Core Values.
