An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Chief Nurse – East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership on a permanent basis. We are looking to appoint an experienced senior operational manager with a vision for the future.

NHS Glasgow Greater Glasgow and Clyde is the largest health system and teaching Board in Scotland with an annual budget of circa £3.9 billion (2022/23) it employs around 40,000 staff. The Role

We are looking for an experienced nurse with drive, creativity and a proven track record of strategic thinking but above all this must be underpinned by the desire to achieve person centred approach to caring.

The successful candidate will ideally have a good working knowledge across a variety of care groups including Adult Nursing, Recovery Services, Mental Health Services, Children Services and Primary Care, they will be knowledgeable and well informed on the key challenges for nursing and care in general in Scotland at this time.

The right candidate will have the skills to turn strategic papers into working documents for discussion at Public meetings including the local Integrated Care Joint Board. If you have the right skills we would like to hear from you

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join us who will bring the right value set and leadership competencies expected in a person centred environment.

Our ideal candidate will be a First Level Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration and educated to a 1st Degree/Masters level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent, with in-depth, professional knowledge over a range of disciplines.

Essential to the role is experience of senior management and professional leadership with the NHS with the ability to effectively and efficiently address complex clinical and professional issues across organisational boundaries influencing local and national policy.
