The shift pattern for this position is day and possible nightshift once qualified.

Perform a full range of diagnostic investigations in respiratory function and sleep disordered breathing within Greater Glasgow & Clyde Physiology Services.
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years experience at post training
  • Theoretical knowledge specialty(Post grad Diploma level) or equivalent experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and access
  • Working knowledge of relevant national standards, professional guidelines and local policies and procedures,
  • Voluntary Registered practitioner (essential)

‘Trainees’ will be expected to work towards professional certification through the Association of Respiratory Technology & Physiology (ARTP) practitioner examination.

On successful completion of ARTP practitioners’ exam, trainees will be expected to join a voluntary register for clinical physiologists – either through the RCCP or AHCS.
