Fixed Term post for 21 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Reducing Drug Deaths Open Innovation Catalyst Challenge, a National Challenge open to all 4 devolved nations.
As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the development and management of project plans, risks and project resources. You will also manage, coordinate and support the delivery of the aims of the Open Innovation Challenge and awarded Innovation projects across the UK nations.
A key element of this senior role will be engagement with industry partners, clinicians, academics and managers across the UK. You will also engage closely with representatives from the Scottish Health and Industry Partnership (SHIP), U.K. Office for Life Sciences (OLS), as well as NHS representatives from the U.K. devolved nations.
Substantial project management experience is essential, educated to degree level or equivalent; with programme or project management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, APM or equivalent experience. Experience of supporting innovation projects and/or Small Business Research Initiatives is essential. Experience of developing, leading or supporting digital health innovation project would be desirable.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills able to work independently and efficiently.

You will be primarily based within the Research, Innovation and Knowledge (RIK) Department at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, although flexible working and working from home will be considered. You may be expected to travel to other NHS Fife sites, across the South East of Scotland and other UK nations, as required.
