This is a fixed term post until March 2021.
You will be a key link between the acute hospital, psychiatry, care of the elderly, community addiction teams, primary care, secondary services and wider care providers. It will be a pivotal role in terms of ensuring a continuity of care with individuals who are experiencing problems relating to alcohol and/or drug use in the acute health care setting and primary care through to the community setting and will contribute to the delivery of integrated care planning.
This key role will facilitate the development of competencies of general nurses within a good practice framework of intervention and care delivery across specialist addiction and health care.
It is essential you are a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and have substantial experience. You will be expected to function as a clinical leader by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency, and experience and will be able to provide evidence of relevant and complementary post-registration continuing education.
The hours of this post are worked 8.30am to 4.30pm.
