An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outpatient Team Secretary to join the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and friendly individual to join the team at the Rowan Centre, Glassgreen Centre, Elgin.

The successful candidate will provide day to day secretarial and administrative support working autonomously but should be a confident team player and enjoy working with people in a very busy office environment with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, experience of using Microsoft Office, ability to prioritise their daily workload to meet service demands, deal with confidential situations in a sensitive approach. Applicants should have good organisational and keyboard skills and be confident in their use of IT systems.

A main part of this role will be to support a variety of different healthcare professionals within the service i.e Nurses, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists with their administrative tasks such as using TrakCare (patient management system) for booking and sending patient appointments, answering telephone queries, typing and sending clinical letters.

There are always opportunities to provide cover for other secretaries within the service i.e; referral processing, supporting Choice & Partnership process and Groups. There are also opportunities to provide cover for Medical Secretaries such as supporting our ECAT team and medical staff, which is great to gain this knowledge especially for personal development.
