This is a fixed term, full time post for one year. The hours are worked Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

Based at The West Centre, this post forms part of the business support team and provides comprehensive secretarial and business administrative support to Specialist Children’s Services multi-disciplinary team in relation to the Community Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The post-holder will contribute to the team through efficient provision of a variety of secretarial and administrative duties. The post-holder will work closely as a team and with the Senior Business Support Assistants, being able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the service. The post involves reception duties, dealing with telephone enquiries, data input, record management and supporting generic functions and duties. The post-holder will work closely with all team members within CAMHS including the wider clinical team. The post holder will assist with all aspects of admin support, following standard processes for the pathway, ensuring its smooth running and efficiency. You must be able to demonstrate competency in the use of range of computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualification e.g. ECDL and have a recognised qualification in Administration equivalent to an SVQ in Administration at Level 2 or above, or significant relevant equivalent practical experience. With a flexible approach, you should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to prioritise workloads, accurately input clinical and non-clinical data and be an effective team player. You should have a good knowledge of office procedures and systems and be able to demonstrate prior experience of working in a secretarial or administrative role.
