An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Mental Health. You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible. As part of our plan we are looking to recruit Staff Nurses within our Service in the following area:
Stratheden Hospital: Dunino Ward
You should show a commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe, evidence based and effective care, and have an interest in working and supporting people with complex and enduring mental health issues. The experience available to you within the rehabilitation service will enable you to develop a range of skills which will be transferrable to many care settings and other inpatients settings.
The successful candidate will support the Senior Charge Nurse/ Charge Nurse in planning daily workloads and care delivery, ensuring the most effective use of nursing resources.
You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills and you will assist and support staff on the ward and will be designated to take charge, when required in the absence of the person with continuing responsibility or more senior staff.
You will be a committed individual with a desire to join a progressive, modern thinking inpatient rehabilitation service. A keen interest in working in this area of mental health and a willingness to learn new skills is essential.
You will receive a comprehensive induction package and annual appraisal and must be committed to ongoing professional development.
