We are looking for Trained & Un-Trained staff to join our nursing ‘Bank’ to work within our 8 bedded Inpatient Unit and Hospice at Home service. We utilise a 12 hour shift pattern, covering days and nights. Applicants should be enthusiastic and motivated, have good interpersonal / communication skills and a desire to work in this type of environment, to meet the needs of vulnerable patients. Previous experience of working in a Palliative Care setting or with Palliative Care patients would be beneficial but not essential, with an acknowledgement that flexibility is integral to this type of role. Bank Staff are well supported, orientated to the environment, gaining access to our training programme once established within the team.
The hours of work utilise a 12 hour shift pattern with a degree of flexibility to meet the needs of the service. Shifts can be available on week days, nights and weekends.
ACCORD Hospice adopts an equivalent ‘Agenda-For-Change’ pay scale, with subsequent enhancements and annual leave payments.
