Band 4

You will join a team providing a clinical physics and bio-engineering service to health care establishments within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The service includes the installation, commissioning, calibration, performance assurance and repair of a wide range of medical equipment.  In addition, staff undertake duties in accordance with the quality system operated.

Applicants should possess a relevant technology / engineering based qualification at S(N)VQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent e.g. a relevant National Certificate or completed Modern Apprenticeship in an appropriate subject. Applicants should also be committed to undertake further training and education.

Applicants should possess demonstrable knowledge of electrical, electronic or engineering principles with relevant practical experience in a service / repair or engineering environment.
