This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Co-Ordinator to help coordinate the work of the NHS Ayrshire & Arran Neurodevelopment Empowerment & Strategy Team (NEST). You will have the opportunity to co design and deliver the expansion of our neurodevelopmental support coordination service for Ayrshire. Working collaboratively with neurodivergent individuals, families/carers, professionals, clinicians, 3rd sector and statutory services.
Supporting the Programme Lead, the post holder will be instrumental in the design and delivery of a service that provides up to date, relevant and practical local/national information for Ayrshire’s neurodiverse communities and professionals working in neurodevelopmental services. They will also jointly coordinate, co-produce and deliver a Programme of empowerment for Neurodivergent children, young people, adults and families. Finally, they will deliver a community based Programme that will set about to raise awareness and accessibility across Ayrshire.
The base for this post will be agreed with the successful candidate, although some working across Ayrshire is essential, in order to meet the requirements of Ayrshire’s neurodivergent residents and communities. Driving licence and own car is essential.
The post is permanent, full time (37.5 hours/week). Variation in these hours may be considered.
A car driver is essential for this role.
Travel across Ayrshire will be required - Base location to be confirmed.
