What you'll do 

This Clinical Tutor role sits within the Clinical Practice team based at the University of Glasgow or University of Edinburgh. 

The Clinical Tutor post provides an opportunity to play a key role in contributing to the delivery and development of quality assured clinical practice education and training for Clinical Psychology Trainees. The post is designed to support the partnership with NHS Scotland and the University of Glasgow or University of Edinburgh in the development, delivery and quality assurance of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Alongside working closely with Trainees throughout their training, the post holder will support close partnership working with a range of key stakeholders, developing and implementing quality initiatives and projects as well supporting and delivering innovative clinical practice education whilst ensuring continuity of the current high quality standards of training. 


What you'll bring

You will be an experienced clinical psychologist registered with HCPC and eligible for Chartership with the BPS. 

Experience of supervising Clinical Psychology Trainees in a clinical setting is essential, as is experience of taking a lead role in initiatives. You should bring a knowledge and interest in clinical practice education as well as excellent communication and team working skills.  The successful applicant will also be expected to be working clinically by separate arrangement.
