A vacancy has arisen within AU2 Planned Care for a 1st level trained nurse.
You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible. You will be based in AU2 which is a busy surgical/urology assessment unit, which will give you the opportunity to gain extended clinical skills.
Admissions unit 2 is a 22 bedded busy, fast paced surgical assessment unit with 3 additional assessment beds. You should be enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated with a real interest in surgical nursing and admissions. We are looking for good team players with excellent written and oral communicators. Evidence of continuing professional development and experience in acute nursing is essential. Extended skills such as IV administration, peripheral cannulation and mentorship would be preferred but not essential.
