NHS Forth Valley is working in collaboration with the Golden Jubilee to develop a Scottish Elective Unit and in April 2020 and we will be opening the doors to a purpose built post operative elective orthopaedic ward.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of dedicated staff in the elective ward.

 

We endeavor to form a cohesive, enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible and professional team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

 

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced nurses who will embrace this dynamic and challenging role. The applicant will be an expert clinical practitioner responsible for providing advanced clinical skills, enhancing care and improving patient flows in conjunction with national standards.  The post holder will posses advanced knowledge of the acutely ill patient in with an interest in orthopaedics thus ensuring their effective management and treatment.  They will provide direct patient management in partnership with senior medical staff, have sound clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision-making skills in acute care.


Essential Qualifications:

Non-medical prescribing NMC registered,

Advanced Clinical Examination accredited course at degree level or above,

A current RC UK accredited ALS provider certificate,

Evidence of working at Masters Level.


Applicants should have or be working towards the following skills / qualifications:

Decision-making course such as recognition and management of acutely unwell adult

Royal College of Physicians approved IMPACT course
