The Directorate of Forensic Mental Health provides tertiary care across a range of settings, medium and low secure and Community for mentally disordered offenders. The Community service provides care and support for patients and their relatives/carers in their own homes. The focus of the service is community reintegration and risk reduction.

A vacancy has arisen for a Forensic Community Psychiatric Nurse (FCPN) -Band 6 covering the Glasgow area of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.  The FCPN will be responsible for managing their own caseload of mentally disordered offenders living within in the community and transitioning from inpatient care to community living. The post holder will work within the framework of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).  This role extends to working with Criminal Justice Social Work, Police, Court, all statutory and voluntary sector agencies.

The shift pattern is; Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
