PART TIME RECEPTIONIST

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​HOURS: 20 per week- Monday to Friday 2pm-6pm.


We are currently looking to expand our team and are offering a position of an enthusiastic and reliable receptionist to join our team. Experience in general practice would be an advantage however it is not essential as training and support will be provided for the right candidate. Applicants must have an excellent telephone manner as well as good communication, organisational skills, be a good team player and be able to prioritise your workload around the demands of a busy reception/admin area and be able to work under pressure.


The post will be for 20 hours working Monday to Friday from 2pm to 6pm. You occasionally may be required to cover for absences/holidays You must be able to work under pressure, adapt in busy and unpredictable situations whilst upholding patient confidentiality at all times.. The roll will include dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, processing prescriptions and mail, booking and cancelling appointments, ‘signposting’ patients to the appropriate service, phoning hospitals, other services and other administration duties.
