The Health and Safety Services Team are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Health and Safety Advisor to make a real difference to the quality, safety and experience of both patients and staff, and to ensure that our organisation is equipped to meet legislative and best practice requirements in Health and Safety across NHS Fife.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your organisational and teaching skills as you will be involved in the full range of activities from writing policies and delivering training, conducting risk assessments, ligature assessments, preparing reports, DSE Assessments, and conducting walk rounds / audits. 
You will help with the day to day running of the department by reviewing the incident management system and providing advice and support where required to those involved. An engaging and positive approach is required to raise awareness and engagement in Health and Safety issues throughout the organisation.
The successful post holder will ideally have experience of Health and Safety within a health / social care setting and good communication and presentation skills are essential and a working knowledge of IT including word processing, databases and presentation software an advantage.
