We are seeking to recruit a Lead ANP from our existing Cardiology Nursing Team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Working within the multi-professional clinical team the role of the Lead ANP Heart Failure is integral to the smooth running of the Heart Failure Service. The post holder will work at an advanced level undertaking; high level clinical decision making affording assessment, diagnosis and treatment including prescribing, for patients with cardiology conditions and other multi-dimensional problems. Decisions are made using high level expert knowledge, skills and clinical competence in the delivery of evidenced based, patient centred clinical care of the highest standard, in accordance with the NMC and Safety Legislation.
This post will support the delivery of the Heart Failure Service.
The successful candidate must have well-developed, demonstrable leadership and teaching skills with the ability to problem solve under pressure whilst remaining responsive to the delivery and demands of this busy Heart Failure/Cardiology Service.
You must be a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience within Cardiology and educated to Masters Level. A Clinical Examination Skills Qualification and a Non Medical Prescriber Qualification are also required. Leadership experience required.
