NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a part time (30hrs) Occupational Therapy based at Udston Hospital / Larkhall Health Clinic within the Integrated Community Support Team.
Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Job Purpose
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will manage a defined caseload, using evidence based practice and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings. The post holder is expected to develop relevant clinical skills, knowledge and experience without direct supervision.
Duties may vary depending on the care group/department/assigned area of work or level of experience
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience required for this post;
- Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration
- Knowledge of application of the theory underpinning OT practice
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work using own initiative
Please note; this post requires the post holder to haver a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence and access to their own car.
