An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Children’s Nurse.
Based within the Paediatric Department at Raigmore Hospital the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Risk Management and Quality Improvement within acute, community & specialist paediatrics.
The post holder will provide advice, support and leadership in respect of quality improvement and clinical effectiveness, and also support risk management in respect of DATIX, debrief and Adverse event management within Paediatrics.
The role involves research, governance, clinical policy development, coordination of national guideline dissemination and review of implementation, management and driving of change, supporting processes for internal and external reviews and inspections.
The post holder will work closely with the Highland Acute QOS team, National QI and SPSP teams, the paediatric team leaders, the Clinical and Management Leads, to encourage a culture of safety, quality improvement and learning within the department
