eHealth Infrastructure Operations and IT Security Manager

AFC Band 7 (£46,244 - £53,789) (Under AFC Review) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,591.56 per annum

Post Details

The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of the IT Infrastructure and support services across the organisation. They will deliver modern, customer focussed IT Support Services to support the delivery of clinical and administrative business processes.

They will also be responsible for all operational Cyber Security technical and advisory services across the organisation and work collaboratively with NHS Scotland Security Operations Centre and appropriate agencies such as the NHS CSOC/CCOE (NCSC – part of GCHQ), Police Scotland. 

Experience

You should have a degree in computing or information management with professional qualifications or equivalent certified training relating to core IT disciplines such as: Applications/Systems Management, System Administration   Architecture, Development, Integration or Testing. Familiarisation with the Network and Information Systems Directive (NISD) would be an advantage.

Experience of working in a senior position within a complex IT service focused department.

You should be able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a time constrained environment and exercise initiative and work independently. You should have excellent managerial, leadership, organisational and communication skills and be a tactful and diplomatic communicator at all levels within the organisation. You should have the ability to recognise key priorities and address issues with experienced negotiation skills. You should also be self-motivated, assertive, and confident with clear leadership ability and obvious enthusiasm for the role.
