An opportunity has arisen within the Main Theatre and Recovery areas at University Hospital Ayr for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Support Worker who has the ability to work as part of the team delivering a high standard of clinical care with a commitment to ongoing personal development.
You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team carrying out a range of activities relevant to perioperative practice, clinical care tasks and other duties as delegated by and in support of a Registered Nurse/ODP. The role includes working as part of a team within all areas of main theatre, including reception and post-op recovery.
You will be supported in your learning by provision of a mentor and undertake in-house training as part of continuous professional development. You must have a willingness to learn and be a team player.
Hours: 37.5 per week (Shift pattern is 0800-1800hrs (4 x 10hrs) 7 day working week). Part time hours would be considered.
