The shift pattern for this position is Monday - Friday.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Primary Care support services to be part of the transformational change Programme within Primary Care. As such the post will be evolve to meet the changing needs through this change Programme and therefore you will require to be flexible and responsive while working across health and social care services within NHSGGC.
The post holder will support delivery of the GP Contract across NHSGGC, under the supervision of the Primary Care Support & Development Manager, being responsible for specific work streams within the contract. You will work closely with Primary Care Support staff, General Practices, HSCP staff and the IT department.
You will be responsible for the collection, collation and monitoring of General Practice activity within the GP Contracts.
You will require:
- knowledge of the GP Contracts (specifically 17j and 17c agreements and Enhanced Services )
- A good understanding of General Practice and its IT systems
- An ability to work unsupervised, on a variety of concurrent work streams
- Good communication, negotiation and support skills
- Development and training experience / skills
You will be Educated to Degree level at entry or have the equivalent experience in a healthcare environment, either primary or secondary care. Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
