BAND 5 COMMUNITY STAFF NURSE 18.75 HOURS P/W INVERCLYDE COMMUNITY NURSING SERVICE
Department: Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership - Community Adult Nursing
Hours: 18.75 hours per week worked over 7 days (negotiable with district nurse). Permanent.
Grade: Community staff nurse band 5
Base: Inverclyde Community Adult Nursing
Role of the department:
To provide a community nursing service to the housebound population of Inverclyde
The job the applicant will be doing:
To assist the band 6 nurse and provide effective and holistic nursing care to a designated caseload within Inverclyde HSCP
Rotation within Inverclyde locality anticipated as Service Demands
Skills / Qualifications:
A 1st level registered nurse with significant post registration is essential. Community experience would be advantageous but not essential. As part of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates, evidence of current NMC registration will be required prior to start date. You should therefore note that candidates who are unable to provide confirmation of current NMC registration, in line with projected start date for this post, may not be shortlised for interview. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure Scotland Check. Full driving licence / car owner essential
