An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Capital Programme Business Manager in the Capital Planning and Projects Department. Reporting to the Capital Special Projects and Assurance Director and working closely with the Director of Capital Planning and Programme Directors, this post will support the overall performance management and assurance deliverables required in the development and construction of capital projects in NHS Lothian, ranging in value, across the whole of the estate.
With strong influencing and communication skills you will require to evidence significant experience of Business Management in a healthcare or equivalent, complex environment and will have the ability to inspire confidence and respect to lead and deliver in a clinically sensitive and demanding environment. Key to the success of this role is good organisation, analytical and judgement skills together with knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures that underpin the smooth running of the department.
Applicants should have a masters degree in business, construction or related subject plus proven skills in in effective people management, team building, communication and negotiation.
