What you will do:

Responsible to the Transport Manager in assisting with the provision of an efficient and effective management service within the scope of multiple legal and legislative standards including requirements across a mixed fleet of cars, commercial and specialised vehicles and equipment. Responsible for a comprehensive insurance/accident management system whereby all vehicles related incidents are recorded and reported. Provide a constant helpline to staff and managers at all levels offering advice and assistance on all Transport related issues.​​​​​​​

Responsible for the financial accountability of NHS Ayrshire & Arran Crown Car / Car Leasing Policy and to ensure that this is maintained at all times, including compliance with Inland Revenue Regulations.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You are required to be proficient in, have knowledge of, or undertake training in the following:-

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously, competently and reprioritise workload as a result of interruptions.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff/service providers.
  • High level of knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • A high standard of computer literacy and a bespoke transport database.
  • Ability to prioritise many different tasks simultaneously including planning and organising of workload effectively delivering high quality both for self and others in order to meet tight deadlines.​​​​​​​
  • Proven ability to assist in delivery in major organisational change.

​​​​​​​The following criteria is desirable:

  • Experience within Transport environment car leasing, financial services, vehicle insurance and customer relations ​​​​​​​
  • Knowledge of car Leasing, insurance claims procedures financial protocols

Hours:

37.5 Hours 

Shifts Pattern:

9am-5pm - Monday to Friday (can be flexible) 

Fixed Term/Secondment:

Please note this job is a fixed term/secondment for 12 months


Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

Car licence is essential to this role.
