An exciting opportunity is available for a permanent, full time Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service In-Patient Team.  This post is based in the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, working with children and young people aged 0-18 years. You will provide Occupational Therapy to those referred to the service from various specialities within the hospital including; cardiology, respiratory, intensive care, oncology, neurology and orthopaedics. You are required to:
• hold a degree in Occupational Therapy
• be HCPC registered,
• 1 years post qualification experience is desirable along with experience working in a hospital setting and/or working with children and young people.
• We will also consider applications from new graduates.
• Knowledge and understanding of the role of OT within Specialist Children’s Services is also desirable
• Effective communication, organisational and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check
