​​​​​​​The shift pattern for this position is Sun-Sat 8.30am-4.30pm (inclusive of public holidays as service requires) ​​​​​​.​​​​​​​

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well presented, patient focused midwife to join our team of specialists and midwives to train in early pregnancy ultrasound. Early pregnancy experience would be desirable, though not essential.

You will hold a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery and be
registered or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience. You will have the ability to be a flexible team player with excellent communication skills, undertaking a holistic role in the early pregnancy service. You will be required to undertake the mandatory focused postgraduate course in Early Pregnancy Ultrasound.

Currently Greater Glasgow carries out approximately 10,200 early pregnancy ultrasound scans per annum. There are two departments, the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and the Princess Royal Maternity currently offering a 7 day service across both sites.
