Medical Equipment Technical Project Manager

Reporting to the Head of Medical Equipment Asset Management (MEAM) and working closely with the asset management team alongside Clinical Services, this post will provide asset management expertise to support the forecast planning and delivery of the capital programme of medical equipment replacement in NHS Lothian, ranging in value, across the whole of the estate.
With strong influencing and communication skills you will require to evidence significant experience of equipment/asset project Management in a healthcare or equivalent, complex environment and will have the ability to inspire confidence and respect to lead and deliver in a financially sensitive and demanding environment. Key to the success of this role is good analytical and judgement skills together with knowledge and understanding of medical equipment management, governance, and due diligence and compliance with legislative requirements throughout the full process.
Applicants should have a degree in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering or relevant experience in medical equipment asset management subjects and supported by project management, capital planning, finance, procurement or evidence of equivalent knowledge and skills.
