To ensure all clinical and non-clinical staff across NHS Lothian are trained in the use of the IT systems they need to use to carry out their job. This includes, for example, training doctors, nurses, AHPs, secretaries, ward clerks, waiting list staff and students to use the TrakCare patient management system.
To lead on the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of eHealth training courses and materials to support eHealth projects and business-as-usual training for staff and students across all of NHS Lothian. Scheduling will be carried out in conjunction with the Training Team Leader.
To supervise the day to day work of IT Application Trainers within their workstream. This will include recording absence, handling annual leave requests, carrying out KSF annual reviews and supporting their personal development.
To deputise for the eHealth Training Team Leader.
