The Acute service provides a complex range of Hospital services across the population of Greater Glasgow and we are now looking to add to the strength of our Management team through the appointment to the following role that has arisen.


Following on the excellent work of our current General Manager, the post holder will be accountable to the Clyde Sector Director for the operational management of the Specilaty area ensuring resources are maximised to meet the Clyde Sector targets and objectives and that service provision is delivered.


Educated to degree level or equivalent with a demonstrable track record of success in a senior management position within a complex environment, preferable in the NHS and with 5-7 years sennior management experience, through which in-depth, professional knowledge over a range of disciplines will have been developed.  A high level of interpersonal, strategic, technical and person-centred leadership skills is underpinned by NHS Greater Glasgow and values and a culture of person centred care.
