We have an opportunity to join our expanding Surgical Colorectal Cancer Specialist Nursing Team, based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This is a dynamic team delivering a streamlined, quality service for patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer, with opportunities to be involved in exciting service development. The role necessitates working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team involved throughout the patients pathway from diagnosis onward.
The successful candidate will work closely with, and be supported by the existing Clinical Nurse Specialists and Surgical Consultants, taking an active role in supporting patients and their families, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their care. Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they have excellent clinical, communication, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Candidates must also have specialist knowledge and experience of colorectal cancer and surgical nursing.
