We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individual to fill the post of Site Facilities Manager based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus, which includes the Royal Hospital for Children.  The Facilities Directorate provides a range of services which support clinical services in the delivery of patient care. As a senior Facilities Manager you will provide professional management and leadership of Facilities services and effective hospital site management on a day-to-day operational basis. This will involve responsibility for the delivery of a range of Soft Facilities Services, with this post having specific responsibilities for the provision of Domestic, and Patient & Retail Catering Services, The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the services are responsive and aligned to support the clinical activity, with the ability to deliver high quality services, whilst effectively managing significant budgets, ensuring these are maintained at all times within agreed financial boundaries.  The post requires a dynamic, forward thinking individual who possesses excellent business management and communication skills, is highly conversant with and has an ability to interpret a range of IT related systems.  In addition you must have experience and demonstrate an ability to lead teams of staff effectively and to consistently produce high quality standards of work, be highly adaptable and have an ability to prioritise workloads within a pressurised environment. 

You should be educated to degree level, or have substantial experience in a senior management role.
