This post is a bank security guard. 0 hrs contract for 6 months.

The postholder is required to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service as directed by policies and procedures which are monitored by senior staff. Duties can vary from time to time and requires the postholder(s) to be flexible and willing to meet the demands of the service.

Main Duties:

  • Provide general assistance to staff and visitors.
  • Carry out patrols within the building at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
  • Provide security for staff, visitors & patients.
  • Issue & collect keys from staff for the building.
  • Issue proxy cards to staff and visitors of the hospital.
  • Escort staff to area’s within the hospital.
  • Provide a security presence at Accident & Emergency from 22:30 – 05:30
  • Hold and restrain members of the public if they are violent when requested by medical staff.
