NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a fixed term position for 24 months.
The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 9000 - 1700.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to take forward an integral project around HSCP’s Primary Care Improvement Plans and the transformational agenda that is currently being taken forward in General Practice.
The post holder will require to work closely with senior stakeholders with HSCP’s, GP practices, third party suppliers and other eHealth teams to ensure the effective delivery of the GP Record Back Scanning Project.
The post holder will have gained over 3 -5 years practical experience in the delivery of large projects involving multiple stakeholders within a public or private service environment.
The post holder should have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a time constrained environment. Good interpersonal skills are required allowing the post holder to deal with the project stakeholders. A good understanding of Primary Care and GP practice operational workflows is advantageous.
