HR Business Partner
FTC/Secondment opportunity – 12 months

The Post:
An opportunity has arisen for an HR Business Partners to join our team, partnering with our Directorates to provide strategic HR leadership and direction, as the senior HR professional aligned with the Senior Management Teams.
The role will lead, shape, and drive the development of Directorates workforce and people strategies and local people plans, to enable the delivery of the Directorates strategy and business plans. The HR Business Partner, working collaboratively with all areas of HR ensures the provision of professional people and HR services to NSS, Public Health Scotland and shared services stakeholders.
The Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced HR Professional with a range of practical, generalist HR experience and the ability to influence managers and leaders across a diverse organisation. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating influencing and motivational skills. You’ll bring strong organisational skills and the ability to produce written work of the highest quality.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or equivalent relevant experience. You’ll bring a growth mindset with the ability to identify and apply continuous improvement.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
