We are looking for Dietetic Secretaries in Fife, we would love you to join our Team. There are 2 posts available: 37.5 hrs and 18.75 hrs. Please indicate on your application post(s) you are interested in. 

This is a great opportunity to join our dietetic team which provides a clinical dietetic service in a range of specialist areas to Children and Adults both in the Community and Acute across Fife. Induction and training will be provided for your transition into your new role! 

Are you a good communicator and interested in developing your skills and experience? Nutrition and Clinical Dietetic Service are looking for a Dietetic Secretary to join our friendly team in NHS Fife. This position is to support the Team working with both Children & Adults in Weight Management.

This is a Fife wide service providing a range of Dietetic Care to a Children and Adults in both Community and Acute Hospitals. The Service is currently arranged into clinical teams for; Acute, Adult Weight Management & Child Healthy Weight, Diabetes, Mental Health & Learning Disabilities, Nutritional Support, Older People and  Infant Nutrition & Paediatrics.  There is also specialist Dietitians working in the Health Promotion Food & Health Teams.  Fife has a Non Prescribing Ordering Model for Oral Nutritional Supplements; our service also includes non medical prescribing Dietitians.

The Dietetic Service takes both undergraduate and graduate Dietetic students for B & C programmes each year; involving staff in the delivery and organisation of the programmes. New graduates to Fife will participate in the rotation programme across the various Teams as part of their continuing development.  The Service runs regular Service training sessions and supports staff in their continuing professional development. The Service has good administration support, Information Technology, social media and online resources.

Please note the salary for 18.75 hrs post is pro rata to part time hours.
