Linen Room Assistant

Indicative of AfC Band 2 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,591.56 per annum (pro rata)

1 x 16 hours per week (4 days per week 9am to 1pm)

Contract Duration – Permanent

Post Details – 

A vacancy has arisen for a part time Laundry Assistant within The State Hospital.  Duties will include escorting laundry van, ordering weekly linen / bedding / towels to maintain required stock levels. Washing & Drying patient clothing / mops / scrubs. Ironing curtains. General cleaning of laundry department.

Experience –        

You will have good communications skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated. You shall be required to be discreet and courteous. Experience with commercial washing machines, tumble dryers, Steam Iron, stem press machine.
