As Personal Assistant (PA), the post holder will act as the PA to identified members of the Operational Mangement Team, to ensure a high calibre, confidential, comprehensive, secretarial and administrative service is provided.

This includes using own initiative and judgement in prioritising and distributing mail, initiating action required and setring/noting deadlines, drafting letters and collating information to ensure a timeous response.

The PA will be required to use their own initiative and judgement in prioritising key and urgent tasks, actions, forwrding to appropriate senior Directors for action, noting and closing down deadlines.

The postholder communicates and negotiates efectively at all levels in a professioanl and reasoned manner on a daily basis via face to face, telephone and/or email with colleagues in a wide range of departments and services across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and NHS Scotland.

The Shift Pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9-5
