​​​​​​​A full-time permanent vacancy for a Band 8A Principal Psychologist has arisen within Brand St CMHT. This is a busy mental health service which serves the population of the Govan area of South Glasgow. You’ll join a highly motivated and committed multi-disciplinary team consisting of Psychiatrists, Nurses and Occupational Therapists. The Psychology team delivers evidence-based, psychological therapies to individuals who are receiving a service from the CMHT and also provide supervision to MDT staff delivering structured psychological interventions. You’ll provide supervised placements to trainees enrolled in the doctorate in clinical psychology programme at University of Glasgow.  You’ll hold a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, be an HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, and have experience in adult mental health. You’ll have completed formal training in Clinical Supervision. You’ll be supervised by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist within the team and join the large
and dynamic South Glasgow psychology department, and have access to a range of professional development and CPD opportunities.  Recently qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, and those about to qualify, will be considered.  Please make informal enquiries to Dr Jane Burns, Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
