Band 4 £27,598 - £30,019 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,279 per annum
37.5 hours per week

We have a permanent, fulltime vacancy within the Mental Health CAMHs Team, based at Springfield Road Health Centre in Stornoway, for an appropriately qualified and experienced medical secretary within our Psychology and Neurodevelopmental diagnostic services. The post will support the administration and coordination of Psychology and Neurodevelopmental diagnostic services in Child & Adolescent Mental Health and across the Neurodevelopmental pathway. The postholder will occasionally provide cover for the medical secretary for the Consultant psychiatrist.
The core hours of the service are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The Western Isles lie 40 nautical miles off the north-west coast of Scotland and consist of an archipelago of islands, eleven of which are uninhabited. The island group stretch approximately 140 miles from the Butt of Lewis in the north to Barra in the south. They are linked together by a series of causeways, two ferries and an air service. Main services are based in Stornoway with satalite services based in Balivanich Uist. You will be an integral member of our community mental health child and adolescent services.
