An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Mental Health Team in Kirkintilloch for a Band 5 nurse. The applicant should have a current NMC Pin number, this post is full time permanent hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an integral member of the team, the post holder will work in partnership with the Multi-Disciplinary Team demonstrating compassionate caring behaviours to fulfil the key functions of the CMHT.  This is a key role within the team, in assessment, treatment, and implementation and evaluation of programmes of care using a strength based recovery focussed approach to care that involves the person and optimises self-management.   You should be a registered mental health nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration, you would be expected to have excellent communication skills and have evidence of professional development. You will be given training in Low level Psychological Therapies.  The role involves supervising the practice of others, undertaking mentorship responsibilities and contributing to the learning and development of the team.  Pre- employment checks will take place as part of GG&C Policy. This is a permanent post with full time hours, Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
