TPD for Stage 1 IMT in SEoS Advert

Hours: Part Time, 1.25 PA (5 hours per week)

Duration: Fixed Term / Secondment for 36 months*

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.

The Training Programme Director for Stage 1 IMT SEoS will be responsible for managing specialty training programmes for doctors holding the following appointments: specialty registrar (ST); and locum appointments for training (LATs).

This will be across 1.25 PA of time (1PA = 4 hours)

The TPD should be a Consultant and is accountable to the Lead Dean/Director for Medicine or appropriate Associate Dean.  They may also combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor.
