NHS Tayside Public Health Directorate is seeking to appoint an experienced individual to join the Infant Feeding Team and provide breastfeeding support to women living in Dundee. The post holder will provide breastfeeding support at the point of discharge home from maternity services until discharge to the Health Visitor/FNP. This will include telephone calls, video calls and home visits.
Completion of breastfeeding training and an ability to assess and plan care are essential requirements. The post holder will be required to travel to cover duties throughout Dundee.
The post holder will work closely with colleagues in Public Health, Maternity Services, Healthy Visiting and Family Nurse Services and Voluntary Organisations in Dundee.

Hours of work: 28.5 per week (workable over 5 days, Monday to Friday).
