Lothian CAMHS Unscheduled Care

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Band 6 Nurses, (Mental health or intellectual Disability), to join a fantastic, supportive, nurse led service and to be part of ongoing service development. Using a Bio-Psychosocial risk model, the CAMHS Unscheduled Care Team provides comprehensive and systemic mental health assessment, for young people up to the age of 18, who present in crisis. Some short term follow-up for children and young people is also a part of the role, as is liaison with other CAMHS clinicians, hospital staff across a range of clinical areas and wider services for children and young people.

The team is based across Edinburgh and St John’s Hospital, in Livingstone. Good support will be provided and there will be opportunities for further training.
