An opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join the in-patient specialist rehabilitation service. The team provides multi disciplinary assessment and intensive rehabilitation for adults who have a range of conditions including supporting people with traumatic/acquired brain injury and progressive/complex neurological conditions.   The team are based within the Bellfield Centre in Stirling and also in-reach to see patients within Forth Valley Royal Hospital. 

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who will help further develop this service.  The successful applicants will provide patient care and rehabilitation under the guidance of the therapists in the team.  The team includes occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, neuropsychology and dietetics as well as nursing colleagues. Therapy Assistant Practitioners are a valued and highly respected part of the service and are key to delivering rehab programmes.

The applicant should be able to prioritise fluctuating workloads and be flexible in a busy environment.  They should have the ability to move between bases in Bellfield and FVRH depending on demand.
