You will assist in providing a day-to-day statutory, planned and reactive maintenance within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. The main challenges for this department are to meet the demands of a modern healthcare service while providing an effective and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. You are required to have fulfilled a recognised time served apprenticeship. Experience of engineering/building services within a hospital/ Health Board environment is desirable. This post reports directly to the Decontamination Estates Co-ordinating Supervisor. You will also be required to take part in an on call rota and be able to work at other hospitals to meet the demands of the service. We are committed to the delivery of outstanding care for our patients. You will need to share this commitment and demonstrate our values while undertaking your duties in this role. You should have served a fully recognised electrical/mechanical apprenticeship acquiring the range of skills and experience required. You should have an ONC in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 10.00am - 6.00pm.
