Who We Are

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.

The Workforce Directorate works at a national level to support the delivery of NES’s strategic plan and is a key partner to the delivery of Scottish Government priorities for the health and social care workforce.

The Centre for Workforce Supply (CWS) is a fast paced, high profile and dynamic team, within the Workforce Directorate. Commissioned by the Scottish Government in 2021, our goal is to support the growth and transformation of the NHS workforce. Our work is aligned to the National Workforce Strategy for Health and Social Care.

One of our key objectives is to raise awareness of and attraction to the NHS across Scotland, to ensure we have workforce fit for the future.

We deliver this objective through an innovative Marketing workstream, effectively promoting careers in NHS Scotland to domestic and overseas candidates. We do this by raising the profile of NHS Scotland roles through a variety of different marketing activities, from digital resources and events to social media assets.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our small, highly talented and growing team to support the delivery of our Marketing workstream.

Working to the Marketing Manager, you will coordinate and input into the development and implementation of national marketing activities, assets and materials for NHS Scotland.

You will provide much needed project coordination support, ensuring high quality, engaging outputs are delivered on time.

Do you want to make a difference to the everyday lives of our NHS workforce?

Do you enjoy working at pace in a high profile, dynamic environment?

Do you have an eye for innovative aesthetics?

Do you enjoy problem solving and collaborating with others?

Working in CWS you will have the opportunity to bring your unique creative skills and experience to the table, collaborating across organisations to support recruitment into the NHS in Scotland.
