This is a full time permanent post. The hours are worked Monday to Friday 8.45 to 17.00

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven medical secretary to join the Neurology team based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The preferred candidate will be the first point of contact for patient and staff. They will complete audio typing and administrative duties within a large service. You must have a recognised qualification in secretarial studies or equivalent experience along with a minimum of one year’s audio typing experience.

It is essential that the post holder has a good working knowledge of clinical software systems, excellent organisation and communication skills and have a good understanding of Freedom of Information, Caldicott Guidelines and General Data Protection Regulations.
