The Scottish Ambulance Service is a national health board within NHS Scotland and one of three Scottish emergency services.  It delivers scheduled and unscheduled ambulance services across Scotland.

The Service is developing a team to enhance digital learning capability across the organisation, beginning with the move of statutory and mandatory learning to a new Learning Management System.

We are currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Learning & Development Technologist to provide expert advice, guidance, and training on digital learning technology to all SAS staff. The successful candidate will report to the ICT Systems Training Manager and will play a key role in successfully ensuring delivery of the expected Learning Management System (LMS) Turas Learn.

Previous experience with digital learning systems is essential, experience of working in a dynamic healthcare environment on Turas Learn is highly desirable.

The base location for this role is flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate.

The role will require some travel throughout Scotland.  As a result, there will be occasions where the post-holder will have to be flexible in terms of their start time and finish time during their working week. Applicants must have a current driving licence.
